Several years ago, noted Jam?son genealogist Scott Jameson, studied and expanded many of the Jam?son family genealogies found in the 1902 book on Jam?son families (The Jamesons in America) by E.O.Jameson. Scott who also published a newsletter in the late 1980's and early 1990's, under his "The Jameson Perspective" (tjp) umbrella, using a lot of this data. When the internet came along Scott published most of his work online, using the "Rootsweb" platform, the largest genealogy community at the time. That all evolved over the years and Scott moved on to more recent online genealogy programs, including Ancestry, Family Search, etc. Although most of what scot originally published online has since been lost, some was salvaged for awhile with the "Geocities" people, including the original index of ALL the genealogies Scott had originally published (and at some point may no longer be available online.

Over the years Scott has slowed with his genealogy research, has now retired and pretty much stopped anything new with genealogy, enjoying his garden and grandchildren more than the grind of research.

This collection, shown below, is what we have been able to salvage from Scot's original collection and is published here as it originally existed. This is an effort to preserve what is left from the original collection in the fear that this too will soon become unavailable and otherwise lost. What is left is somewhat incomplete insofar as what has been lost or removed by Scott himself over the years. In fact some of the missing files may never have been uploaded or even completed by Scott. None of what is available has been updated or corrected and exists just as Scott had intended at that time. It is understandably dated and does not benefit from the explosion of new data discovered since these were done in the 1980's and 1990's, nor from anything new learned from modern DNA testing.
